Stillie Mason, Treasurer

A native of Louisville, Ky., Mason resides in Leesburg, Va., with his wife, Dordy. He is presently Director of Human Resources for Wheat’s Lawn & Landscape, Inc. in Vienna and is also a Virginia and Kentucky licensed auctioneer. He taught English and Journalism before embarking on an eighteen-year Human Resources career with Island Creek Corporation, a subsidiary of Occidental Petroleum Corporation. Primarily responsible for labor relations and mediation, he also wrote arbitration briefs and Affirmative Action Plans at the corporate and division level. He then served as an education administrator and grant writer as Director of a Family Resources Center. After moving to Virginia in 2000, he became a consultant and HR Manager with Cable & Wireless, USA in McLean, Virginia. Mason graduated from Western Kentucky University with a BA degree in Communications and Theatre minor. He recently completed a fiction novel and is working on a second.
